The work done by the brewers we feature here often predates the invention of ‘craft beer’. These are beers that share more in common with the natural wines we love - so that’s no additions of commercial yeasts, organic hops and barley and some wild experimentation with a rainbow assortment of fruit - than their modern brethren.

This is a selection of beers we want to drink at any time of day, at any time of the year.
