Chardonnay

Chardonnay is most commonly associated with the rich, opulent wines of Burgundy and California, this is a grape of many faces with thrillingly linear, fresh examples to be found in areas as diverse as the Jura (where there’s a little-known red-stemmed offshoot known as Melon à Queue Rouge) and south-eastern England.
