Olivier Lejeune is a winemaker who travelled the world learning his craft before settling himself at the heart of the Loire Valley’s Anjou. There he was taken under the wing of the legendary Mark Angeli whose guidance was vital in learning the intricacies of Chenin Blanc and whose influence, you feel, will be keenly felt in these wines for years to come. That said, these wines are absolutely representative of Olivier’s fastidiously manual work and some of the most exciting things to emerge from the region in years.
