Corentin Houillon
We’re sure that you could count on one hand and, more likely, one finger the amount of winemakers who had their first exposure to their future craft by crushing grapes alongside the Jura’s legendary Pierre Overnoy. While Corentin Houillon’s familial ties (his uncle Emmanuel took over Maison Pierre Overnoy and his aunt, Adeline, makes similarly hard-to-find wines in Pupillin) have no doubt aided in his ability - helped along the way by stints with Stéphane Tissot and Dominique Derain - to craft unerringly elegant wines from his new home in the Savoie where he tends 5 hectares of steep vineyards. One to watch for sure.
