Domaine Belluard
We’re not sure there’s a winery in the world who controls just about half of the world’s total plantings of one grape. However, with 10 hectares (of a grand total of 22) of the Alpine Gringet variety planted in the hills of the Savoie’s Arve Valley - set just a few kilometres from Lake Geneva - Domaine Belluard is just that. This is one of France’s truly precious winemaking projects, one with a singular focus for producing profound, laser-precise white wines that rival anything from supposedly more grand regions.
