Domaine de Majas
The story of Domaine de Majas is intrinsically tied to Tom Lubbe, adopted son of the Roussillon and winemaker at nearby Matassa. In 2007, under Tom’s guidance Domaine de Majas’ Alain Carrère moved away from the world of chemical agriculture and unnecessary manipulation of his fruit towards a more thoughtful approach. This sea change has produced a range of undeniably simple yet sustaining wines that are true reflections of Alain’s wild corner of the Pyrenean foothills.
