Esteve i Gibert

Esteve i Gibert’s story is like many of the others in this region, with the newest generation - Laura and Albert - taking over from their parents and converting practices in the vineyards to hands-off organic viticulture and working in the cellar without an over-reliance on sulphur or, for that matter, any of the other products in the modern oenological arsenal. With 19 hectares (relatively small for this part of Penédes) on the sunny slopes of the Ordal mountains, these are wines that sing of a very particular, very delicious Catalan sensibility
