Gamay

Gamay is a grape long-synonymous with the wines of Beaujolais and, perhaps most (in)famously, the youthful, artificially bubblegum-y Nouveaus. A small-berried, slightly grippier variant, Gamay d’Auvergne, can be found further west amongst the extinct volcanoes central France’s Auvergne region.
