Hugues Godme
Hugues is the fifth generation to grow champagne in Verzenay. He owns 11 hectares spread over 4 villages. Since 2006, the family began farming organically and then biodynamically. For Godmé, top-quality vineyard work is of utmost importance for later quality in the glass. "When I see the grapes hanging on the vine, I already know how the champagne will taste later." This philosophy allows Godmé to produce Champagnes expressing the subtlety and strength of the terroirs of which they are from.
