Julie and Tony Bainbridge

Toby Bainbridge, a Brit by birth, and his wife Julie met when he was forging an unlikely career driving monolithic combine harvesters in the vast corn fields of the midwestern USA. We’re unsure exactly how, from that distant point, Toby and Julie came to own 4.5 hectares of pristine vineyards just south of Angers in the Loire Valley. We do know that Toby trained with two legends, René Mosse of Domaine Mosse and Didier Chaffardon, and their influence is felt keenly in what are just ever-approachable, fresh wines.
