Ludovic Engelvin

Ludovic Engelvin has, like many before him, walked the well-trodden path from sommelier and wine shop owner to fully-fledged winemaker. With stints with some of France’s most storied winemakers behind him (including Didiers Barral and Dagueneau), and 9 hectares of vineyards planted across the Gard region of southern France, Ludovic makes studied, expressive wines by utilising biodynamic treatments in his vines and by keeping to rigorous, monk-like standards in his cellar.
