Ovum Wines

Ovum Wines is the product of husband-and-wife duo John House and Kesnija Kostic’s endless curiosity with how white grapes - specifically Riesling - adapt to the rainy, ever-changing climate and soils of the Pacific north-west. Based just outside of Portland, they have an unusual focus for this region, disregarding the red varieties that garner most of the commercial focus, in favour of aromatic white varieties that they feel translate the diverse quality of Oregonian terroir more accurately and making some of America’s most delicious, evocative wines in the process.
