Rie et Hirofumi Shoji

It is hard to be believe that Rie and Hirofumi’s first harvest of Pedres Blanques was just a couple of years ago, such is the level of finesse found in the wines and the cult status they have already attained. The two spent years working in Burgundy, Hirofumi with the legendary Frederic Cossard, before finding an incredible vineyard of Grenache planted over schist in the hills above Collioure. Fittingly, their wines display a level of finesse rarely found this far south.
