The Kernel Brewery
It’s hard to overstate the influence of Evin O’Riodain’s Kernel Brewery on the UK’s now omnipresent craft beer scene. An ex-cheesemonger (at the esteemed Neal’s Yard Dairy shop in Borough Market, no less) Evin was the first brewer to set up on what is now called Bermondsey’s Beer Mile, from where he produces a range of understatedly-labelled, thoughtfully made, tirelessly researched beers which have been trusted favourites of ours since the brewery’s inception in 2009.
