All of the wines we feature are suitable for vegans. For years winemakers have relied on a variety of animal-derived solutions in their work, most commonly for clarifying, filtering and fining their wines. This can mean anything from egg whites and milk proteins, to gelatin and bone marrow in your bottle.
Low Intervention's aim is to only feature producers who choose not to rely on these products and who, to capture their natural wines at their most alive, often do not filter at all. This might leave a small deposit in each bottle that you can choose to drink, or discard, at your discretion.
