Vouette & Sorbée

The Aube in Champagne’s south is quickly becoming the most dynamic winemaking region in France. It’s an area home to an ever-growing band of independently-minded producers of grower champagne with Vouette & Sorbée’s Bertrand Gautherot at its core. Bertrand has blazed a trail for biodynamic growing (he’s been certified since 1998) and his passion for endless innovation extends to the cellar where he continues to push the boundaries of champenois winemaking, making carefully raised, delicate wines in a variety of vessels including, even, a couple of clay amphora.
