Yvon Metras

Yvon Métras was one of the key acolytes in Jules Chauvet’s gang of winemakers he inspired to return to a pre-industrial style of winemaking. With holdings in vineyards across Fleurie and Moulin-a-Vent, Yvon eschews chemical treatments in his vineyards and unnecessary manipulation in his cellar for a purer approach which has led to his becoming probably Beauolais’ most sought-after bottles.
