Triomphe is a hybrid grape variety (originally created in the Alsace) that feels custom-built to ripen in Monmouthshire’s unpredictable climate. This is perhaps the only naturally-made sparkling wine made from the grape and shows the refreshing sour cherry character that puts us in mind of the best of northern Italy’s now cultishly-followed Lambruscos.
