A beautiful expression of Grenache Blanc from one of our favourite winemakers in the Ardeche, Anders Frederik Steen. This is the first time he has produced a white from his own vineyards in Valgrand and it really impresses, displaying ripe fruit and great acidity. An absolutely delicious take on one of our favourite grapes that makes even more sense in magnum.

Anders Frederik Steen
Anders Frederik Steen used to be a sommelier in his native Denmark, responsible for writing some of the best wine lists in the world at places like Relae, Manfreds and Noma. A few years ago he began making a handful of one-off wines with legendary nomadic producer Jean-Marc Brignot and the rest as they say, is history. He now lives with his family in the village of Valvignères in the Ardèche, producing highly original wines from some of the region’s most beautiful vineyards.
