This is quite simply one of the best oxidative wines we've ever got our hands on. Anders picked some Pinot Gris from the Bannwarth family in Alsace and left it in their cellars to age for five years under flor before bottling it by hand. The result is an impossibly complex melange of fruit, nuts and spice with a finish that goes on and on.

Anders Frederik Steen used to be a sommelier in his native Denmark, responsible for writing some of the best wine lists in the world at places like Relae, Manfreds and Noma. A few years ago he began making a handful of one-off wines with legendary nomadic producer Jean-Marc Brignot and the rest as they say, is history.
