A unique nouveau wine made from gamay vines that are over 100 years old. A fine and mineral red that is fresh, fruity and lively. A wine with high acidity, light tannins and a broad finish.
Xavier Benier
After having graduated from the wine academy in Beaune in the early 1990s, Xavier Benier created a bit of a buzz when he insisted on making unfined and unfiltered wines with little or no sulphur added something that was a faux paux back then. Today he has made a name of himself in the natural wine world producing excellent wines that are nearly always great value for money ( even though his neighbours still think he’s crazy )
