Lurisia is drawn from a spring that sits in the foothills of the Piedmontese alps. This source, which since its discovery in 1917 produces reliably light, low-mineral content water, is in one of the last villages before you enter the vast, largely uninhabited expanse of high mountains which straddle the France-Italy border.
