At 70 years old, these are the oldest vines that Clementine and Gianmarco farm and from this once-in-a-lifetime vintage, they'll be able to craft a wine of staggering complexity and detail. After two years of ageing in big old barrels and plenty of time in bottle, this is just beginning to show its true colours. An incredibly mineral wine of astonishing length.
Le Coste
Clementine Bouveron and Gianmarco Antonuzzi met in France while working for the legendary Gerard Schueller in Alsace. After years working with some of France’s top producers, they decided to move back Gianmarco’s village of Gradoli on the shores of Lake Bolsena in Lazio’s north and apply what they had learnt to the local grapes that grow on the regions lively volcanic soils. These two are responsible for some of the most original and delicious wines we have tried.
