Another beautiful orange wine from young winemaker Trish Nelson. This one comes from an old vineyard across the lake from her home and is a blend of Procanico, Malvasia and Moscato, with a bunch of local varieties in the mix. It spent a couple of days on skins and a year in a chestnut casks and is absolutely delicious, with a delicate saltiness that keeps us coming back for more.

Trish Nelson worked with some of Italy’s best natural winemakers such as Cantina Giardino and Le Coste, before buying a small cottage and renting a few hectares of vines in the hills of Bolsena, above the lake of the same name. Her wines, made from local grapes grown over volcanic soils are ever radiant, bringing joy to whoever is lucky enough to enjoy a bottle.
