40% Grenache blanc, 40% Melon de Bourgogne and 20% Gewurtztraminer. 30% is direct pressed, 40% undergoes a 5 week maceration in acacia and 30% sits on skins for 6 months in old oak. Bottled with no filtration and no sulphites at any stage. Straw, copper and satsuma plum, metal, clove and cardamom. It's a little like an iced tea spiked with ginger and spices. Even saffron makes an appearance. The flow of tannin is spot on for the weight and acidity. A real drinking pleasure !
