Sylvain Bock / Faux Sans - This one is mostly Chardonnay, with the balance being Grenache Blanc. The fruit is grown over limestone soils, grapes are pressed directly and fermented and aged in stainless steel vats. It is simple and direct, while offering up plenty of of interest and refreshment.
Frederic Cossard / Jura - Chardonnay from a grower introduced to Fred by Jean-Francois Ganevat, who farms around Rotalier, in the Jura's south. From a vintage that was on the warmer side, this is predictably generous with its fruit but holds it well, with a mineral core that provides plenty of interest and keeps things fresh.
