A blend of Carignan and Grenache Noir from Le Mazel in Valvignères. The final press of Carignan was blended with equal parts of Grenache Noir and aged in old barriques for one year. A deep ruby in the glass, the nose is thick with sunkissed fruit and spice. Old-school and rustic, this feels resolutely Ardéchoise and will age nicely for many years to come.
Note : Due to the nature of these archive products some of the wax tops could be chipped, damaged or removed due to transit
Anders Frederik Steen
Anders Frederik Steen used to be a sommelier in his native Denmark, responsible for writing some of the best wine lists in the world at places like Relae, Manfreds and Noma. A few years ago he began making a handful of one-off wines with legendary nomadic producer Jean-Marc Brignot and the rest as they say, is history. He now lives with his family in the village of Valvignères in the Ardèche, producing highly original wines from some of the region’s most beautiful vineyards.
