A long, long maceration of biodynamically-grown Friulano variety Ribolla Gialla has yielded a wine of the richest autumnal colour, with characterfully intense bitter tropical fruits and baking spice. As with all of Saša’s work, expect this to only improve with age.

The wines benefit from what a soil type the Slovenian’s call ‘Ponca’, a complex mix of sandstone, clay and marine deposits that produces powerful, mineral rich wines. With long macerations and time ageing in old oak casks, they produce wines of rare intensity.
