Julien Altaber has worked at Saint-Aubin’s Domaine Derain for years where he rose from cellar hand to essentially handling  most of the estate’s winemaking alongside legendary natural wine maverick Dominique Derain. Julien now focusses most of his time on his own production with a network of small vineyards and like-minded growers providing the fruit for wines that feel like a truly unique expression of the Burgundian countryside.
