We’re so pleased that some of this incredibly refreshing elixir, that up until now we’ve only been able to drink while travelling, has made it to our shores in time for summer. It’s a relatively unlikely pét-nat made of 100% Aligoté, Burgundy’s perennial underdog variety, that drinks with a chalky, salty lemon-accented vim & vigour. Pure, bottled deliciousness.
Frederic Cossard produces perhaps our favourite wines in all of Burgundy. A larger than life character with a love of the good life, this legendary producer manages to make thrilling, vibrant Burgundies in a region where oak and sulphur can dominate without sacrificing precision, nor detail.
