Is this Italy’s best Pinot Noir? We certainly think so. Gianmarco and Clementine got the massale cuttings from their old teacher, Bruno Schueller in Alsace. Planted at a density of 7000 plants a hectare on a serious slop, this is delicate and perfumed, a beautiful expression of this king of grapes.

Le Coste
Clementine Bouveron and Gianmarco Antonuzzi met in France while working for the legendary Gerard Schueller in Alsace. After years working with some of France’s top producers, they decided to move back Gianmarco’s village of Gradoli on the shores of Lake Bolsena in Lazio’s north and apply what they had learnt to the local grapes that grow on the regions lively volcanic soils. These two are responsible for some of the most original and delicious wines we have tried.
