Another winner from Hans-Peter Schmidt's Mythopia project. Mostly Fendant, with a little bit of another local grape named Reze, from a 70 year old terraced vineyard planted over chalk and schist. This spends a week on skins with some whole bunches in the mix, followed by two years in old oak casks. This carries a wonderful floral note and gentle flow of minerals and with some fine little tannins to boot, offers great complexity.
