From his Argelliers vines in Hérault, Olivier produces superb cannons, fresh and fruity, which give immense pleasure. But he also knows how to buy pretty organic grapes from friends and vinify them with talent. This is the case with Deferlante. A blend of Syrah and Grenache from the Gard, Chenin from Carcassonne and Ugni Blanc, Vermentino, and Carignan from Argeliers, all vinified in whole grapes.  An afternoon delight. Fresh and fluid without lacking in-depth & lip-smacking fruit to finish!

Olivier Cohen

It’s almost impossible to believe that Olivier Cohen has only been making wine for himself since 2013 such is the profile he’s built. With a background in one of France’s best wine bars (La Part des Anges in Nice) as well as a number of stints at some incredible estates (Arena in Corsica, Valette in Burgundy, Allemand in the Rhône Valley) he’s crafted a reputation as making some of southern France’s most vibrantly alive wines from his new home perched in the hills behind Montpellier.
