Luminously bright Coda di Volpe from a vineyard an hour or so from Cantina Giardino’s home base in Ariano Irpino. Despite a year in chestnut casks bringing a little structure this just zips along with notes of orchard fruit and just a whisper of the finest tannins. Wonderfully food friendly wine that’s happy alongside almost anything you could throw at it.
