A beautiful expression of 100% Poulsard. Shimmering ruby-red in the glass with pepper and red fruits on the nose and supple in the mouth. It's everything we love about this very specific link between grape and place - pale and translucent belying a savoury, bitter complexity. Lithe, pretty red wine that can only come from the Jura. Like most of these beautiful light reds, they benefit from being served with a light chill.
Domaine des Cavarodes
Etienne Thiebaud is the man behind the highly regarded Domaine des Cavarodes, who started out making his own natural wine in the village of Cramans, in the northern part of Jura back in 2007. Etienne is a true artisan using biodynamic farming practices determined by the lunar calendar and with his philosophy always being centred around making wine with as little intervention as possible.
