Wines made from this sort of blend rarely feel as fresh or vital when made by anyone other than Olivier Cohen. This has bags of supple black fruit and the sort of fleeting structure that belies its deeply Mediterranean origins.
Olivier Cohen
It’s almost impossible to believe that Olivier Cohen has only been making wine for himself since 2013 such is the profile he’s built. With a background in one of France’s best wine bars (La Part des Anges in Nice) as well as a number of stints at some incredible estates (Arena in Corsica, Valette in Burgundy, Allemand in the Rhône Valley) he’s crafted a reputation as making some of southern France’s most vibrantly alive wines from his new home perched in the hills behind Montpellier.
