What should be a simple riff on Grechetto Rosso (a local name for central Italy’s workhorse red grape Sangiovese) is transformed in to something so much more through a combination of an immaculate vintage and Gianmarco and Clementine’s innate skill as winemakers. A vibrant, beautifully rewarding wine.

Le Coste
Clementine Bouveron and Gianmarco Antonuzzi met in France while working for the legendary Gerard Schueller in Alsace. After years working with some of France’s top producers, they decided to move back Gianmarco’s village of Gradoli on the shores of Lake Bolsena in Lazio’s north and apply what they had learnt to the local grapes that grow on the regions lively volcanic soils. These two are responsible for some of the most original and delicious wines we have tried.
