This is a racy and modern take on Chardonnay from Adelaide Hills. It's a complex number, showing plenty of oak spice - there's some smoke and popcorn, alongside fresh white peach and zesty lemon. The palate is round but fresh, with some creaminess from the barrel, but ends with a kick of acidity. The perfect pairing for a bowl of carbonara.
