This is a blend of two old Pinot Meunier vineyard plots that face each other and were planted in 1964 - Montreval (the South facing slope) lays on clay and limestone, and Cumines (the North facing slope) lays solely on deep clay. Harvest took place on 18th September. Wine is aged and fermented in stainless still tank and was bottled in August 2015.
Timothee Stroebel looks after his family’s vineyards in the village of Villers Allerand in Montagne de Reims. His first vintage was 2005 and since then he has made a name for himself producing vinous complex Champagnes that taste like no other.
