Made from 100% Trousseau this is a smooth red wine with aromas of red fruit, notes of mushrooms and hints of spice. On the palate, it’s delicate, supple and well structured. A round wine with a fleshy texture, crisp acidity and a flavoursome finish with hints of undergrowth.
Etienne Thiebaud is the man behind the highly regarded Domaine des Cavarodes, who started out making his own natural wine in the village of Cramans, in the northern part of Jura back in 2007. Etienne is a true artisan using biodynamic farming practices determined by the lunar calendar and with his philosophy always being centred around making wine with as little intervention as possible.
