Rollier is a bluebird originally from Africa. Valentin is naming this cuvée Rollier because it is always made with a majority of Syrah grapes, and when you work with Syrah grapes in the cellar after a few hours, you have blue hands. 45% Syrah dominant wines macerated with the whole bunch for less than a week and blended with some Grenache 45% and Cinsault 10%. After pressing the wine is aged in stainless still for this vintage only. Bottled in July.

Having working alongside the legendary Eric Pfifferling for many years, Valentin Valles settled down in another part of the region near the village of Saint Quentin de la Poterie and now produces some of the very best wines in a region littered with talented vignerons.
